Driving at night is very dangerous due to excessive LED headlight brightness. 1) some oncoming cars completely blind the entire road to the point where even the white line on the side of the road is not visible. 2) pedestrians are not visible 3) obstructions in the road are not visible 4) even if headlights are aimed correctly, bumps in the road will elevate the lights and cause cars to blind others 5) These problems are exacerbated during wet weather 6) cars driving behind are often so bright that none of the rear view mirrors can be used, even the dimmer switch is not effective 7) often the entire roof of my cabin is illuminated including my rearview mirrors, when cars with LED headlights are behind or in front 8) bright headlights leave dark spots in my vision at night and reduce ability to see in the dark 9) bright headlights leave dark spots in my vision during the day and can cause migraines 10) the excessive height of modern trucks exacerbates all problems listed above 11) lifted vehicles often do not have their LED headlights leveled properly and blind other cars in the road 12) sedans, wagons, and other normal height vehicles are more prone to being blinded due to excessive height of modern trucks 13) I am sometimes blinded by cars that are over a mile down the road, or a mile behind in my rearview mirrors 14) the bright white color of LED headlights is harsh, causes migraines and vision spots, and does not allow eyesight recovery for seeing at night 15) auto high-beams do not work well and contribute to all problems listed above I used to be able to drive at night and everyone was able to see with regular headlights. With my current job I am forced to drive in the dark (winter DST) and inclement weather and am constantly blinded by LED headlights.
