Summary: The commenter supports the move toward streamlined nonclinical safety studies by arguing that animal testing is often ineffective and morally wrong. They advocate for the abandonment of animal testing in favor of non-animal protocols.
Multple studies I’ve come across have indicated that 90% to 95% of research results on animals do not translate positively to humans. That should indicate to researchers the practice or animal testing in research need to be abandoned and more non-animal testing protocols should be implemented.
Plus the moral issue of torturing living breathing g creatures should pierce every single researcher’s heart and mind. It appears their emotions have been severed in order to continue this practice with the paltry results.
