For any preventive that is administered to large numbers of healthy people, good public health practice requires extra proofs of safety over long periods of time. Not only have the mRNA COVID vaccines had insufficient time for long-term, placebo-controlled studies, these studies have not even been started. Not only has FDA failed to require such studies, they are in possession of data (VAERS, VSafe) that suggest a frequency of severe adverse reactions two orders of magnitude higher than vaccines using previous technologies
