If women are told to avoid alcohol during pregnancy, they should also be alerted to other potentially harmful substances, like Tylenol, by having warning on the containers. Otherwise, there is no "informed" consent. The FDA's primary job is to protect people from harmful drugs. It is not to protect the pharmaceutical industry.
