Summary: The commenter shares a personal experience of severe long-term side effects from Prozac and argues that antidepressants are unsafe for use during pregnancy and for developing children. They support the petition's goal of restricting these substances.
I took Prozac aged 21 14 years ago and it severely disrupted my sexual and emotional development, as well as giving me cognitive issues. I am still suffering from them years after stopping. Prozac permanently disabled me aged 21 and prevented me from having a normal life, so antidepressants are definitely not safe for developing foetuses, babies, children, and teenagers (or adults). Pregnant women are advised to avoid caffeine, so they should definitely not take powerful, mind-altering stimulants.
