Summary: A Florida-licensed physician supports the petition by sharing a personal anecdote about the success of hydroxychloroquine treatment in their patients. They argue that patients who refused the treatment due to misinformation unfortunately died from Covid.
Treated 50 patients with early Covid. within 48-72 hours of symptom onset). All did extremely well including my 97 year old mother. Generally afebrile within 24 hours.
Tragically, there were 2 patients that refused the treatment because they feared the drug based on media misinformation . They both were hospitalized and received standard treatment without hydroxychloroquine and both died of Covid.
