I urge you to make Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine available Over-The-Counter. I am a retired pharmacist and I never had a patient experience any concerning side effects from these medications. I took Ivermectin during covid and had absolutely no problems with it and it helped me.
The WHO classifies Ivermectin as an "Essential Medicine" and it is used by people all over the world without a prescription. Hydroxychloroquine is available in many countries without a prescription.
It is critical that:
Everyone has access to safe, time-tested medicines.
Doctors must be free to treat without fear.
Medicine must serve people, not politics or profit.
