It is time for medicine to be removed from politics. Medicine should be for the people, a free people able to discern and make their own choices. Political oppression/interference with the doctor patient relationship limits medical treatment needed for our society. Doctors and nurses should be free to treat and support patients without fear of retribution from politically motivated officials or drug company profiteers. Safe and time proven drugs should not be restricted from the public due to the previously mentioned maleficent motivated individuals and organizations.
