This comment is about Narxcare and prescription monitoring programs. First of I see this as a major violation of HIPAA rights! The government has no business in or sharing my medical record information with anybody! That should be my right to decide who, what, when I disclose any information about me or my health records! I will look into file lawsuits based on violations of my rights! Not only are these programs a gross violation of patient rights, they completely breakdown the patient/Dr trust and expectations of confidentiality! Patients will no longer feel they can be honest with any healthcare provider!! It puts people with chronic pain, Narcolepsy and any other chronic illness requiring controlled medication at extreme risk of losing access to medication discouraging reporting or stating ant past/present abusive situations, rape, past/present trauma,It discourages those suffering from depression, anxiety even drug abuse from seeking help or disclosing any of these conditions to any healthcare provider knowing it goes into a government data base easily accessed by government and any form of healthcare. This goes far beyond government overreach, control robbing patients further of their rights and ability to get adequate, proper medical treatment and mental Healthcare! We have the most untrustworthy, enethical, inhumane, cruel and inaccessible healthcare system in our history! Largely due to government control, influencing care, enacting policies that have lead to cruel procedures, denied medication vital for productive quality of life, triggered a 400% in patient suicides and probably hundreds of thousands of early deaths by being dismissed by providers, denied treatment resulting in extreme physical stress causing additional serious health issues, organ damage from OTC overuse pushed by providers the list goes on. How many more patients have to suffer and early deaths because of harmful policies made by the government? When will government be held liable and accountable? If I have my say allowing programs like prescription monitoring or any other monitoring/sharing my medical information, there will be a major lawsuit coming as well as flooding the internet about the truth! NO PRESCRIPTION MONITORING! GET GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR PRIVATE HEALTHCARE COMPLETELY!
