Summary: The commenter, a patient, argues that the Narxcare algorithm is causing physical and emotional harm by incorrectly penalizing patients for pharmacy stock issues. They urge the FDA to stop the use of this software, claiming it is a "barbaric algorithm" that endangers patient health.
Ok. I now have iron clad, in writing proof Narxcare has affected my health care. My doctor told me. I have it recorded. So my medication was cut back and since then I have been put in 6 new beta blockers and BP medications which I never had high BP before. So I got the proof Narxcare and their generated scores don't take into consideration when a patients medication is out of stock due to no fault of the patient and the doctor has to change the medication to one in stock. I've got 20 years of record and no dirty urine screens, no early fills, no doctor or pharmacy jumping. Yet because my pharmacy was out of stock my score went up and my health care has been affected. FDA stop this nonsense. This isn't a healthcare tool. It's a barbaric algorithm that will get patients KILLED. You want the proof, I have it. You can get a copy because now I can prove Narxcare has caused me real physical and emotional damage, I will stop at nothing to get it out of healthcare before someone else is harmed like I have been. You know pain affects the heart and not having pain treated affects the heart. My heart is being affected because of a gimmick software that my government allows that has no real benefits but is surely causing harm.
