Summary: An individual supports the petition because they are concerned that algorithms and scoring systems may lead to impersonal and potentially harmful healthcare decisions. They argue that medical care should prioritize human judgment and individualized attention over data-driven systems that lack transparency.
I support this petition because I am concerned about patients being reduced to a number instead of being treated as individuals.
No algorithm can fully capture a person’s medical history, condition, or needs. When decisions are made based on a score rather than real understanding, people can be harmed. Patients may be denied care or judged unfairly without anyone truly looking at their situation.
This is dangerous. Healthcare should be based on human judgment and individualized care, not just data points from a system that lacks transparency.
I urge the FDA to regulate NarxCare to ensure it is safe, accurate, and does not replace proper medical decision-making
