Summary: A private individual opposes the use of AI and government guidelines to determine pain medication dosages. The commenter argues that medical decisions regarding chronic pain should be made solely between the patient and their doctor based on updated clinical guidelines.
Please stop using AI to score my risk for pain meds. It should be the doctors decisions as well as mine. I also don't think the gov. Should be allowed to make any medical decisions regarding the dosing of my chronic pain meds!! It's between the educated doctor and myself to decide on the risks/rewards of any drug!! Your 2016 guidelines need to be updated in the system to meet the the updates as of 2021. It's causing allot of unnecessary tapering off opioids that are the only drug that's helpful in allowing chronic pain patients to live a normal life!
