In response to docket FDA-2025-P-0377-000: I am a registered nurse who also does limited ultrasound for pregnancy confirmation at a medical PHC. I regularly see women considering abortion. Almost all the women that come to our clinic have not had an ultrasound and know nothing about ectopic pregnancy and yet they want an abortion right away. I am appalled that the medical community/ACOG support abortion without any ultrasound to confirm an intrauterine pregnancy all in the name of women's health. This negligence puts women's health at great risk. I have often had women who were much farther along in their pregnancy than they realized and yet were considering the AB pill which would have greatly increased their risk of complications. Women need to be seen in an office and have an ultrasound done to confirm an IUP and obtain correct dating of the pregnancy. To remove the REMS in order to enable women to more easily access an abortion is not in a women's best interest regardless of where one stands on the abortion issue. In addition, to say there are very little complications from abortion when the abortion industry actively encourages women who have complications such as infection or hemorrhage to not tell the ER physicians they have taken the AB pill but rather say they have miscarried shows how much the abortion industry does not care about women's health but is greedy for all the money they make from abortion. They scare women into thinking if the hospital knows they took the AB pill, the woman will be criminalized. The medical community which includes ACOG should be ashamed of themselves for making medical decisions that are based on political views and not in the woman's best health interest.
