I am submitting this comment as a patient who has experienced chronic back pain. After trying multiple conventional treatments with limited success, I chose to use BPC-157 under the guidance of my healthcare provider. In my personal experience, BPC-157 has helped reduce my back pain and improve my ability to function in daily life. While I understand that individual experiences are not a substitute for clinical evidence, my experience has been meaningful and has improved my quality of life. I encourage the FDA to consider the perspectives of patients who have exhausted other treatment options and have found benefit from peptide therapies. As the agency evaluates policies related to peptides, I hope it will carefully weigh the potential impact on patients who currently rely on these treatments.
