Summary: An individual who used peptides (BPC-157) and GLP-1 medications to recover from a tendon injury and manage weight loss supports the inclusion of bulk drug substances on the list. They argue that these substances provide critical options for individuals seeking to improve their health and quality of life.
In July 2025, at age 53, I suffered from a full thickness left Achilles Tendon rupture and a partial thickness tear in my right Quadriceps muscle leaving me unable to walk without assistance for about 6 months. I used BPC-157 as part of a holistic program of therapies to aid in my recovery. I also added additional weight due to the inactivity from not being able to walk or exercise. I tried reducing my weight through calorie restriction, eating clean real foods, and exercising with no real results. It wasn’t until turning to a GLP1 was I able to lose 25 pounds and reduce risk to my health. I am now at a healthy weight and enjoying a normal life thanks, in part, to incorporating peptides into a healthy lifestyle. Please don’t take a critical option away from one and others seeking to live life to the fullest.
