I support this petition. I have Alpha Gal Syndrome and can not have anything with mammal ingredients. It is very difficult to find medication’s and dietary supplements that are safe for me. The healthcare profession cannot help me. They always say speak to your pharmacist. The pharmacist can’t find the information sometimes and manufacturers don’t even know when you call them. Sometimes they say one batch will have mammal and one batch won’t. This is a life-threatening allergic reaction that I have to mammal and mammal byproducts, all foods and medication’s should have a label that we can safely see so that we can take medications and supplements that are safe for us. Our lives depend on it. This is a growing concern and epidemic. People are coming down with Alpha Gail syndrome due to the Lonestar tick. Changes need to be made now on medication’s that contain mammal and mammal derived ingredients. This needs to change we need to be able to take medication as well and when we go to hospitals or emergency rooms, they don’t even know if what they’re giving us in the emergency room has mammal in it, so our lives are at steak because they can inject us with something that they don’t know if it has mammal and that we may need to save our lives and there needs to be options for things that don’t contain mammal in the medical Industry and medical people need to be more aware of what’s in products and it’s very important to have labeling. Not only mammal and mammal derived ingredients but there’s a product that mimics mammal and mammal ingredient called Carageenan that people with a GS cannot have so that should be clearly labeled also every single ingredient active ingredient And inactive needs to be on the labels as well as a symbol if it has mammal or mammal ingredients in the product. The consumers have right to this information. It’s a life and death situation for some of us. Iit’s a medical issue. Please please help to change this. It’s scary to think that a product that we take may contain mammal and it may affect us in a negative way and it would be so helpful to many of us if the product was just labeled Properly. And this goes for food in our stores. There are so many things we can’t eat because it’ll just say natural flavors, but in that natural flavor is a mammal product and we don’t know it and we can consume it and for some of us, that’s a life and death situation. Please change the rules And the regulations that require people to disclose what’s in their medication’s and what’s in their food products. We have a right to know what we are consuming.
