Those of us with Alpha Gal Syndrome need medicines to be clearly labeled if they contain mammal products/byproducts at any stage of development. Those of us with AGS can have life threatening reactions to mammal products and byproducts! It has become increasingly difficult to find out if a specific medication ingredients contain mammal/mammal byproducts. Many manufacturers do not respond to our requests for clarification, or they say it /can be mammal or plant derived' with NO CLARITy as to if it contains mammal or not. This is unacceptable. It is also imperative that CARRAGEENAN be labeled on all products/ medicines because this red seaweed contains the same molecule that mammalian products have and can cause us the same dangerous, life threatening, painful reactions!
