Limiting the compounding of Enrofloxacin and Doxycycline for veterinary in hospital use. In my veterinary hospital we frequently treat pet store animals (reptiles and avians) that are very small (single digit gram weights). Historically we were able to order low concentration flavored medication for these species. now since we cannot, we are having to find product that we can order in house which are a much higher concentration, which is not feasible for these tiny species. Alternatively, ordering a compounded rx per patient is also not practical as it would take many days to receive the Rx (due to shipping etc) and these patients are often critically ill
