Summary: A private individual opposes the proposed rule, arguing that it will limit the availability of beneficial compounded medications for patients with limited options. They express concern that the rule adds a bureaucratic barrier to healthcare and is medically irresponsible.
My understanding of this proposed rule is that it would limit the availability of compound medications and treatments that have proven to be more than beneficial to many patients, some with limited options. I am against this rule and any rule that would have this result. It appears on its face to be medically irresponsible and controlling. My family and I have recently experienced a bureaucratic nightmare involving the lack of healthcare being administered because of insurance limitations. This proposal would add yet another layer to the barriers to treatment that already exist.
