Summary: The commenter opposes the FDA's decision to block specific bulk drug substances, arguing that it unfairly penalizes reputable companies while failing to address unregulated entities. They express concern over pharmaceutical industry influence on regulations and suggest the FDA should focus on enforcement against unsafe actors rather than restricting regulated suppliers.
I am very disappointed in the FDA decision to block several more compounds from reputable companies that follow strict regulations while there are many companies that work under the radar and demand electronic payment for research use only and do not follow safety standards. The FDA is not stopping the production and just punishing reputable companies and causing more risk to patient. I am concerned about the financial incentives from big pharma and the influence they are having on FDA regulations. I am disappointed and feel like this is not a smart move in banning more compounds and feel like the FDA should go after the company's putting patients at risk and not reputable and regulated companies providing quality products.
