Summary: The commenter supports the proposed action to reduce radiation limits in food, arguing that the FDA is currently prioritizing the nuclear industry over public health. They cite concerns regarding regulatory capture and provide a link to a statement by an expert on the health effects of ionizing radiation.
FDA must vastly reduce the amount of radiation allowed in food. You [FDA] are supposed to be on the side of protecting the health of public not on the side of the nuclear industry. How do you sleep at night? Money is more important than life and health and doing your purported job. This is evil and completely unacceptable. Do what is right for everyone and keep the amount of radiation to a bare minimum. Regulatory capture is completely unacceptable from you or anyone else. Here is a statement from Dr. John Gofman, both a physicist and a cardiologist. He was considered the best ionizing radiation epidemiologists in the uSA and one of the best in the world re the effects of ionizing radiation on health: https://www.ratical.org/radiation/CNR/LetterOfConcern.html
