Summary: The commenter expresses strong opposition to the presence of toxic substances and chemicals in the food and supplement supply, accusing the government of prioritizing corporate interests over public health. They support the petition's goal of reducing hazardous substances like cesium and other pollutants.
The United States has developed a terrible track record in terms of allowing dangerous products on the market with an obvious bias towards big corporate interests rather than the citizens. We're being bombarded with chemicals solely because it is in the financial interests of big corporations and the FDA and USDA seem to be at war with undefiled foods and supplements.
This is treachery and lunacy and it has to stop. It isn't just cesium that needs to be reduced but a load of other toxic substances that are poisoning us and are backed by incomplete testing or bogus testing. All this has been proven so why is the US the last to protect it's citizens. Why has everyone been bought off? And why is that America is trying to force banned substances back into Europe and places that have blacklisted them - the ONLY possible, logical reason is that it's about money. Sell out and then pretend we won't be affected. EVERYONE will be adversely affected eventually, if not already. Can't anyone do what's right anymore, just because it's right? Is there no integrity left? And how could you possible believe the guarantees and assurances of corporations whose only allegiance is to financial success?
That's like asking the fox for a report on the security of the henhouse.
