My name is Peter Brunnengraeber, owner of ayData Management, LLC. My firm provides NDT software used in advanced manufacturing and testing.
I support streamlining the FAR — but not at the cost of the mandatory small-business protections these rules remove.
I am asking the Council not to finalize these rules as written.
We typically learn about federal opportunities through SAM.gov searches and our third-party search notifications, and it usually takes us about one to two weeks to prepare a bid or quote. If the guaranteed 15-day head start disappeared on smaller purchases, we would miss so many opportunities because we wouldn't have the time to prepare a proper bid.
