Summary: EDUCAUSE, an association representing over 2,100 higher education institutions, supports the proposed FAR overhaul as it addresses previous concerns regarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). They request specific additional revisions to clarify CUI identification standards, harmonize NIST SP 800-171 versioning, and ensure that disclosure of non-compliance during the proposal process is evaluated fairly.
