To the leadership team at SpaceX, Mind you, I took my time to do my research. So I'm not just yelling to you guys, I know what I'm talking about. I'm 13 years old. By the time I'm your age, the climate clock will have ticked past some of the most critical deadlines scientists have warned us about. And I'm writing this because I'm angry, like genuinely angry that your company seems to treat that like it doesn't matter. Every Starship launch dumps huge amounts of CO₂ and black carbon into the upper atmosphere. The Raptor engine's methane leaks are a problem because methane is roughly 80 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than CO₂ over a 20-year period. Meanwhile, your reentry debris falls into protected wildlife areas, and your launch site sits next to a national wildlife refuge that's home to endangered species like turtles, birds, fish, poor animals that were already fighting for their survival who are now dealing with all of this deadly gas and habitat destruction. and honestly the idea to go to mars is actually really cool, and i want to be an astronaut, but with the rate that this is making the planet a wasteland, im not sure i might even live to see humans on mars. I want a clean future to grow up in. I want to breathe clean air, drink clean water, and live on a planet that still has room for wild animals and wild places. I want the companies with the most resources and the smartest engineers, companies like yours too actually act like they care about the world they're launching from. i mean, look at all of the money you guys make, and that you have, and the POWER that you guys possess, i mean if you speak up about this, people WILL listen. they wont listen to a 13 year old. they will listen to you. please. So here's what I'm asking Publish full, third-party-verified emissions data for every launch, including upper atmosphere impacts. Fund real mitigation not carbon offsets, but direct investment in methane capture, renewable energy for your facilities, and restoration of the habitats you're affecting. I'm not asking you to stop everything you are doing. I'm asking you to be better. because we need HELP and you know what you are doing. A 13-year-old who wants a future
