The NPRM defines a shop visit as "the induction of an engine into the shop for maintenance"
Would it be possible to further clarify the definition of “the induction of an engine into the shop for maintenance”?
Cargolux Airlines would like to understand if an ‘induction of an engine into the shop for maintenance’ is to be understood as a major SHV only, where major modules are split?
Or should any event involving the engine’s entry into a shop such as off wing shop preservation, post lease inspections, or other convenience related activities—also be considered 'an induction of an engine into the shop for maintenance?
Cargolux Airlines requests the definition of a shop visit to include the level of work / work scope level of the engine shop visit
