Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed restrictions on unmanned aircraft near fixed site facilities, arguing that such bans are unnecessary and that drones should instead be encouraged to help identify criminal activity.
No BANS on Unmanned Aircraft close to any sites or facilities should EVER be established or enacted, especially when that facility has specific federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations with which the site's activities must comply with. We already know the violations increase exponentially when there is no one watching or enforcing those very laws. If anything the FAA should be encouraging Unmanned Aircraft in all these situation to bring criminal activities to the attentio of prosecutors.
