I strongly encourage the FAA to grant this petition for exemption. The current system is extraordinarily burdensome and contrary to safety. This petition for exemption will clarify the processes, standards, and terms under which type one diabetic applicants are entitled to medical certificates. Please issue this exemption as quickly as possible.
