Summary: The commenter, speaking from the perspective of a pilot and a civilian, supports the creation of regulations for small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). They argue that regulations are necessary to ensure safety, prevent mid-air collisions with manned aircraft, and provide transparency regarding why these drones are flying.
I would definitely agree for making the regulations for small UAS. As a pilot perspective, I would not feel secure in the air flying with all of the not authorized or approved UAS from the FAA flying around me. Also there has been many reported incidents and accidents of collision with the UAS and the aircraft in the mid air. As a civilian perspective, I want to make sure what and why they are flying above all of us. I think without any regulations I would feel secure from all of those UAS even though it is a small UAS.
