I question the need for these wells in the near future. The current system of dilution and release into Lake Michigan can be continued for the next several years given that the plant is likely to continue normal operations indefinitely. Why spend the money for these wells and take the risk of contaminating drinking water? I suggest the proposal be put on hold.
