Summary: The commenter, a resident of an environmental justice community, opposes the removal of the Ohio Air Nuisance Rule because it provides essential protection against air pollutants that cause respiratory issues. They argue that the US EPA should delay its decision until litigation regarding the Ohio General Assembly's mandate to remove the rule is concluded.
Protect our clean air! Do not remove the Air Nuisance Rule because it is an essential protection for Ohio's environmental justice communities. These communities, like mine, are more commonly subjected to air pollutants that cause respiratory problems like asthma.
The Ohio EPA asked for the removal based on an unconstitutional mandate from the Ohio General Assembly. So, the US EPA shouldn't make a final decision until litigation over the legislative mandate to remove the Air Nuisance Rule concludes.
Protect our clean air and do not remove the Air Nuisance Rule!
