To whom it may concern, On behalf of TruGreen, I am writing to express our company’s support for the registration of Rinskor (Florpyrauxyfen-benzyl) herbicide for use on turfgrasses used in lawn and landscape settings. As an industry leader, we believe this active ingredient represents a meaningful advancement in weed management and environmental stewardship within our sector. Florpyrauxyfen-benzyl herbicide offers highly effective weed control at exceptionally low use rates, which is a critical benefit for both operational efficiency and environmental impact reduction. Its performance profile provides superior control of many lawns weed species compared to traditional chemistries currently relied upon within the industry. Equally important is its favorable environmental and safety profile. The active ingredient demonstrates a very low risk of phytotoxicity on desirable turfgrass species, making it well-suited for broad use across managed residential and commercial landscape settings. Additionally, its high soil sorption (Koc) values and short half-life, combined with its water low solubility, contribute to an extremely low environmental mobility profile and reduced off-target risk. From an integrated pest management (IPM) perspective, the availability of Rinskor (Florpyrauxyfen-benzyl) herbicide would provide a valuable rotational tool for us at TruGreen, allowing for a reduced reliance on traditional herbicides. This diversification is essential for resistance management and advancing more sustainable, modern weed control strategies. Another significant advantage of this active ingredient is its minimal movement and low toxicity to adjacent trees and shrubs. Protecting ornamental plantings adjacent to treated turfgrass is a critical concern for our industry, as damage to these assets can result in substantial financial liability and loss of customer trust. Rinskor (Florpyrauxyfen-benzyl) offers an improved safety profile compared to other approved herbicides, which is appealing to us at TruGreen, as it helps us safeguard both plant health and business operations. For these reasons, the registration of Florpyrauxyfen-benzyl herbicide would be highly beneficial to industry professionals like TruGreen.
