I oppose the proposed weakening of the EPA Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) Rule. About 21 million tons of coal ash are stored in direct contact with groundwater at Alabama Power's Plant Barry. The company's own monitoring shows levels of arsenic and cobalt leached from the coal ash that exceed groundwater protection standards. This is documented pollution, not a hypothetical risk
