I recommend the superfund not be funded by taxes. The polluter must pay 100% and if the polluter cannot be found the industry with the closest nexus to the polluter must pay. I recommend also a penalty include mandatory prison time for the ceo, and all board members of at least 6 months.
It is bad enought that the trump republican epa is corrupt and doing the exact opposite of it's mandate. The trump republican epa is deregulating and exposing Americans and the environment to hazardous materials and then when a disaster happens because of deregulation they want the American tax payer to pay for the damages
