Summary: The commenter opposes the removal of the Reporting Requirements program, arguing that employer demographic data collection is essential for the EEOC to protect workers from discrimination. They emphasize that these requirements are vital for ensuring workplace equality and achieving the American dream.
DO NOT remove the Reporting Requirements program! It has benefitted millions of American workers and is a main part of the EEOC's purpose. Without requiring employers to report on workforce demographics, the EEOC will have very little ability to actually protect workers from discrimination. Perhaps this is the evil purpose to this proposal, if so, FOR SHAME! When are conservative/political right federal executives going to see that diversity makes this country BETTER and that there is no finite amount of resources/advances/benefits that diverse and gendered people are taking from white Christian straight men?! (See the removal of affirmative action's harm on white men's declined enrollment in college.) The EEOC MUST continue the requirement of employer demographic data collection so that the people of this country who work hard to achieve the American dream can continue to fight workplace discrimination and make a more equal future for us all.
