Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed rescinding of EEO-1 through EEO-6 reporting requirements. They argue that this data is essential for tracking representation disparities and verifying corporate claims regarding diversity.
I'm submitting this comment in opposition to rescinding the EEO-1 through EEO-6 reporting requirements (Docket EEOC-2026-0034-0001). This data is the primary federal baseline for tracking representation by sex, race, and job level — without it, researchers / employers / investors lose the ability to identify disparities before they compound, or verify whether voluntary claims about representation are accurate. I urge the Commission to retain these reporting requirements, or at minimum preserve aggregate demographic reporting even if individual-level detail is reduced.
