Summary: The National Women's Law Center, joined by several other advocacy organizations, opposes the EEOC's Draft Strategic Plan 2026-2030. They argue that the plan provides an inadequate comment period, incorporates partisan enforcement priorities, removes protections for LGBTQI+ workers, and eliminates specific outreach to vulnerable and underserved communities.
The National Women's Law Center, joined by the undersigned organizations, submits the attached comments on the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) Draft Strategic Plan 2026-2030 (“Draft Strategic Plan”). As explained in our comments, we are deeply concerned about several elements of the Draft Strategic Plan that undermine the EEOC’s mission of advancing equal employment opportunity for all workers. We urge the EEOC to revise the document as outlined in our comments.
