Summary: The commenter asks the EEOC how it can better enforce its principles and protect workers from discrimination within federal and state government agencies. They express concern over the politicization of government employment and the potential for religious and viewpoint discrimination in the public sector.
How can the EEOC engage in ensuring one of the largest US employers of Americans - federal and state agencies - are also held to same standards of EEOC principles/rules? We've seen too much politicization and compromising of liberties for American workers in government employment situations than should be tolerated. The number of people I know who fear career limitation if their personal religious affiliation is manifest/disclosed at work, if their ideology is incongruent with the prevailing administration or political mood, etc. How can the EEOC promote high meritocracy but also mitigate viewpoint diversity discrimination, religious discrimination and oppression in agences like CMS, HHS, DOL, State Dept, and even military administration?
