Summary: A senior citizen expresses opposition to the proposed action, arguing that it would increase confusion for consumers when booking airline tickets. The commenter specifically argues against removing the requirement to list fares that include taxes and other fees.
As a senior citizen, it is confusing enough when trying to book airline tickets online. There are so many variables you have to click on to even see what an airline ticket is going to cost when you need a specific seat, luggage allowance, etc. It is bad enough that the Basic Fare comes up and I DO NOT need it to be more confusing by deleting the rules we have now for the airline industry. If you do away with the proposed listing of a fare that includes taxes, etc, it would be even more confusing to this senior citizen.
