I oppose this proposed rule. As a frequent traveler, I want to see the full ticket price upfront so I can easily compare fares and find the cheapest flight. Allowing airlines to place more emphasis on the base fare could make prices appear lower than they actually are and make comparison shopping more difficult. Please keep the current requirement that the total price be displayed prominently so consumers can make informed decisions.
