Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed rule change, arguing that consumers should see the full price of airline tickets upfront rather than at checkout. They compare the practice to hidden fees at grocery stores and state that current rules make it difficult to compare prices between carriers.
Changing this rule is plain dumb. Consumers deserve to know the full price of a ticket UP FRONT. Waiting until checkout means we can't make real comparisons between flights or carriers. When I go to the grocery store to buy eggs, I don't expect to see one price on the shelf and double that at checkout for bogus unexplained "fees" and taxes. Airline tickets shouldn't be any different.
