On behalf of the Arizona Mining Association (AMA), I am writing to express our strong support for the National Mining Association’s (NMA) July 21, 2025 submission in response to the Department of the Interior’s (DOI) Request for Information regarding regulatory reform. The recommendations outlined by the NMA provide a clear and legally sound pathway to reducing regulatory burdens, streamlining permitting, and ensuring alignment with the administration’s priorities to advance American energy and mineral independence.
