Summary: The commenter, a father and individual in recovery, opposes the proposed action on the grounds that it lacks a harm reduction approach. They argue that the policy will drive users back to more dangerous black market drugs, leading to increased deaths and a greater burden on taxpayers.
As a now 12 year clean and sober Husband whom is active in recovery and a father of eight young adult children this is a huge mistake. Right now we need harm reduction from street drugs. As a father I would much rather take my chance with a child having to detox from a product like this then getting a call from the county coroner. No one has died from this product and all you are doing is turning millions of users back to the black market and a certain death. More prison sentences, more death, and a burden on taxpayers. This is gross negligence and a horrible policy.
