Summary: The commenter opposes the proposed action, arguing that deregulation favors corporate interests and risks the financial security of American citizens. They express a general distrust of the political motivations behind the deregulatory agenda, citing the 2008 financial crisis as a reason to maintain existing regulations.
I recommend we not deregulate. I guess Wall street thinks 2008 is far enough in the past to take a shot at Americans money savings again. The trump repulicans and some democrats too, get corrupted or in the case of trump and his cabinet bring their corruption. Ninety percent of the republican deregulatory agenda is a gift to their corporate co-conspirators and a hefty tax on Americans who have to clean up after the leaks , spills, disasters, and take care of the sick and injured workers, and watch as banks foreclose and their savings shrink. trump's money obsession has shown us what the end stages of capitalism looks like. GREED how much is enough?
