The AMCs have been getting away with all kinds of shady practices since they started. I've been an appraiser for 43 years, certified since licensing began in 1991.AMCs want to lump their fee in with the fees paid to appraisers. This should NEVER Ane allowed. They just want to pay us less and give themselves more without having to disclose it.
