As a 20+ year Certified Residential Appraiser, I respectfully request the AMC fee be separated out from the actual fee received by the Appraiser on closing documents. This has been deceiving and misleading to the Public for so many years. They are taking 50% and more at times yet the public thinks the appraiser gets that. Separating it out clearly would support TRUTH in lending. Thank you.
