Comment from Earthjustice
EarthjusticeOpposeAdvocacy
Summary: A coalition of environmental advocacy organizations is opposing BP's Tiber Project DOCD, arguing that the project poses extreme risks to marine environments and human safety. They demand that BOEM disapprove the plan or, at minimum, conduct a full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and formal Endangered Species Act consultations.
On behalf of Earthjustice and five other organizations, we submit the attached comments and exhibits on BP Exploration & Production Inc.’s Initial Development Operations Coordination Document, Tiber Project, Keathley Canyon Blocks 56, 57, 58, 100, 101, 102 (Docket No. BOEM-2026-0628). This submission includes the letter, the previous two comment letters on Kaskida, and attachments 1 through 17 out of 111.
