Destroying the bottom habitat of the entire mouth of the Chesapeake Bay region will have long term negative impacts on fish, crabs and other shellfish populations. This seems highly ill-responsible and short sighted to me. At a minimum, marine and ecological studies need to take place to determine the probable impacts or consequences of proceeding with this project. Our future generations will be jeopardized if the decision is made to strip the ocean floor off the coast of Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
