I have had the privilege of exploring many miles on foot in both Grand Staircase Escalante NM and Bear Ears NM. I can personally speak to how special these wild places are. The true sense of wilderness you feel while spending time in these areas is unlike anywhere I have ever been. We must protect these areas for future generations to experience. The unique geology and ancestral heritage found in both of these monuments should not be overlooked or disregarded. They are one of a kind and removing procetion of these monuments would be disrespectful to the indigenous people who's heritage lies in these areas. I strongly oppose any changes being made to our public lands and national monuments. I urge you to uphold the existing policies andguidance that protects America's wild public lands.
