I oppose revisions to policies for management of wilderness on public lands that would weaken protections for Wilderness Areas, Wilderness Study Areas, Lands with Wilderness Characteristics, or recommended, proposed, and/or eligible wilderness. This signals the first step in an attempt to weaken protections for some of Oregon’s most magnificent places, many of which are conserved due to decades of advocacy.
